Summary

This is Jumanji meets Elder Scrolls meets medieval romance with a blacksmith Orc。 Basically a fantasy union for the ages。 It’d be downright perfect… Except for the fact that my new husband comes with a side of three other wives。

I spend five bucks to play an old arcade game that promises adventurers a chance to choose their very own epic romance。

I'm transported to another reality。 A realm where three Orc women inform me that I've been added to their family, and I'm about to marry their husband。

That's right。 They share a husband。 These Orcs think I'm about to become their sisterwife。 Obviously, I have to escape them。 There’s absolutely no way anyone could be happy living like this forever… right?

Note: This is a 78K story that tells the tale of a woman trapped in a wild game reality like Jumanji (and a bit like Zoltar from Big)。 Romance readers (and '90s-era gamers and Skyrim fans) will find little easter eggs here and there!

I loved this story Okay, so this isn't my typical read。 I actually saw the synopsis in a group I am in and was like。。。nah。。。Then I saw more the next day, and I was curious。Yes, this book is about an orc and his multiple wives。 The fourth wife is human and ends up there when she gets stuck in a game that catapults her to an alternate universe。 However, if you are expecting cattiness and all that, this is totally the opposite! A fun storyThis is a fun beach (or in my case a pool) book。 There are a few sad moments in the story。 The ending made me smile which is my favorite type of ending。

Weird and wonderfulFair warning: Amanda Milo is on my automatic read list because she has yet to disappoint me。 Since I've read everything she's published so far, those are some amazing stats。 The characters are, as always, fun to grow on, and the plot (after an initial adjustment period) is found-family cozy。 I'm anxiously looking forward to the other books in this world。 Weird and wonderfulFair warning: Amanda Milo is on my automatic read list because she has yet to disappoint me。 Since I've read everything she's published so far, those are some amazing stats。 The characters are, as always, fun to grow on, and the plot (after an initial adjustment period) is found-family cozy。 I'm anxiously looking forward to the other books in this world。 。。。more

A fun funny read So I was unsure about this book and the premise。 Sister wives is a concept not often done in romance genre & can have some real work negative connotations。 The author was able to accomplish a fun funny book that didn’t feel strange and built a lovely whole family。 I recommend this。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 the blurb means itSpoiler sorta。if you read the blurb and the title the book : it is as it claims and it is Never a monogamous romance。 I gave it a three because I don’t want to kill her ratings but I will take more notice of her books with other women in the title / blurb。 Seriously not my cup of tea。

Surprisingly goodThe whole sister wives thing is usually a turn off for me but the author makes it work。 Just as good as her other books。

A great read especially for a gamer nerd like meHaving read a couple of Amanda's other books I was intrigued by this one。 Won't lie was slightly unsure at the title but thoroughly enjoyed it。 As someone who enjoys role playing games I loved the other realm reality and game aspect to it。 I hope there is an Esther and Lisa book to come。 A great read especially for a gamer nerd like meHaving read a couple of Amanda's other books I was intrigued by this one。 Won't lie was slightly unsure at the title but thoroughly enjoyed it。 As someone who enjoys role playing games I loved the other realm reality and game aspect to it。 I hope there is an Esther and Lisa book to come。 。。。more

Amanda Milo books never disappoint。 I mean, I wasn't expecting to enjoy a book about orc-ish sisterwives NEARLY as much as I did。 Yet here I am。 Enjoying the HECK out of Stephanie, Roarg, and the rest of this glorious family。To be fair, however, it took a while for Stephanie to fully integrate (or should I say "intertwine"?) into the family she ended up with。 I mean, she was somewhat uncomfortable with the idea of several wives sharing a husband for starters。 Plus, she's just been plucked from a Amanda Milo books never disappoint。 I mean, I wasn't expecting to enjoy a book about orc-ish sisterwives NEARLY as much as I did。 Yet here I am。 Enjoying the HECK out of Stephanie, Roarg, and the rest of this glorious family。To be fair, however, it took a while for Stephanie to fully integrate (or should I say "intertwine"?) into the family she ended up with。 I mean, she was somewhat uncomfortable with the idea of several wives sharing a husband for starters。 Plus, she's just been plucked from a convict wagon (which is upsetting unto itself), gotten herself bought and tattooed all willy-nilly, and has an entire new culture to absorb。But she toughs it out and finds out her new husband is, well, kind of exactly the type of guy she needs。 And the wives? Well, they become her sisters and her support system and her friends as they help her navigate her new life。Like I said, I absolutely wasn't expecting to enjoy this sisterwives ride nearly as much as I did, but Stephanie ended up tossed into a great family unit with plenty of love and babies to go around。 *thumbs up*-Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal 。。。more

I found this book by someone recommending it and decided to give it a read。 It was interesting to say the least。 I haven't come across another book that has a man with multiple wives。 I really enjoyed this book and look forward to seeing what else comes from this author I found this book by someone recommending it and decided to give it a read。 It was interesting to say the least。 I haven't come across another book that has a man with multiple wives。 I really enjoyed this book and look forward to seeing what else comes from this author 。。。more

This is my first time reading a traditional harem romance book (I've read many reverse harems 😉) and I have to say, I loved it。 Found family is one of my favorite tropes and this book really gave that, they were sisterwives in the best ways and there was no jealousy or envy because Orc men are needy and have plenty of affection to give。 I do wish the book didn't end so soon after Stephanie accepted he replace and decided to stay because I love reading the happy, slice of life, family bliss momen This is my first time reading a traditional harem romance book (I've read many reverse harems 😉) and I have to say, I loved it。 Found family is one of my favorite tropes and this book really gave that, they were sisterwives in the best ways and there was no jealousy or envy because Orc men are needy and have plenty of affection to give。 I do wish the book didn't end so soon after Stephanie accepted he replace and decided to stay because I love reading the happy, slice of life, family bliss moments。 。。。more

Just read itOk so sisterwives and orcs, kinda eh right? I read this book in half a day, not eh at all。 First off no orgy shared sex stuff。 Its honestly really wholesome in a really surprising way? I love that the book was a romance but also about the MC finding herself。 It was really refreshing and I hope there are sequels for the others planned for the future!!

First off, I am offended Amazon and my kindle did not inform me of Amanda Milo’s newest release。 I forgot how I found it but boy am I so glad I did! This is a good one guys, you have to try it! So if I can enjoy this, you guys will too。 This weirdly and almost felt like coming home because my grandparents had multiple wives。 My dad is the youngest child of the first wife (out of four) so I had a soft spot for Ulda even if she tended to box Stephanie’s ears。 (We’re Hmong) So this premise wasn’t too crazy for me。 I love how respectfully Amanda wrote their dynamics。 I cannot wait for Lisa and Esther’s stories! 。。。more

I really loved this book。 It was amazing! The characters, the plot, the humor, everything was just wonderful, and the ending was awesome。 I recommend the book。 (I just wish it was formatted better! 6 starsThis is a portal fantasy adventure romance。。。 as such it works for both men and women I think。 Its mostly from the view of the female protagonist and the sisterwife orcs。 This one will cross genres and audiences。 Normally romances don't do it for me and my usual fair is action adventure, and litrpg。 My lookup tags are gamelit, litrpg, mage, superhero, portal fantasy, military, sword and sorcery to give you an idea。 6 starsThis is a portal fantasy adventure romance。。。 as such it works for both men and women I think。 Its mostly from the view of the female protagonist and the sisterwife orcs。 This one will cross genres and audiences。 Normally romances don't do it for me and my usual fair is action adventure, and litrpg。 My lookup tags are gamelit, litrpg, mage, superhero, portal fantasy, military, sword and sorcery to give you an idea。 。。。more

Oh my gosh, this made my little nerd heart burst from joy!!! It was so sweet and heartwarming, especially Roarg。 Why can't all men be like like him? Hmm? So the initial set-up isn't quite up to Ms。 'Manda's standards of writing, it's hurried and a little flat--BUT, give this bookie a chanceeeee。One: I read everything polygamous because I have a weird fascination with all things classic Mormon--I will always read a memoir about plural families because they're fascinating to me。 Weirdly enough--harem and reverse harem romances typically make me a little uncomfortable (I don't get it either), but this one just made me laugh。 The writing focus was on So the initial set-up isn't quite up to Ms。 'Manda's standards of writing, it's hurried and a little flat--BUT, give this bookie a chanceeeee。One: I read everything polygamous because I have a weird fascination with all things classic Mormon--I will always read a memoir about plural families because they're fascinating to me。 Weirdly enough--harem and reverse harem romances typically make me a little uncomfortable (I don't get it either), but this one just made me laugh。 The writing focus was on the main character falling into the storyline and dealing with her new role。 I really appreciated that AND the fact they didn't have an orgy scene。 That might be some peeps kink--but I tend to skip them, so it benefitted me in a small way。Two: Orcs man。 I love a good ugly orc turned cute because he's a sweetheart story, so this was no exception。 Also。 Orc and mystical creature stories right now are just hitting with weird Halloween vibes IRL and that's crackin' me up。 Three: Milo didn't let me down。 I chuckle through a lot of her books, and this was a goodie。 She has (pretty much) also provided you with a entirely secondary novella after the epilogue though, just of general book concept thoughts and thank-yous, so that was humourous as well。 Well done! Don’t let the concept put you off…it’s greatLike most, I was wary of the concept of this story but I have loved every book by Amanda and so gave it a go。 First, the ‘broken game’ idea is genius and so unique to romance。 It made it very interesting to see those small influences throughout the book。 Second, the authors wonderfully hilarious writing style helps the sisterwives concept go down like a spoonful of sugar。 Plus the hero is so amazing to all of them that it’s no wonder a connection forms Don’t let the concept put you off…it’s greatLike most, I was wary of the concept of this story but I have loved every book by Amanda and so gave it a go。 First, the ‘broken game’ idea is genius and so unique to romance。 It made it very interesting to see those small influences throughout the book。 Second, the authors wonderfully hilarious writing style helps the sisterwives concept go down like a spoonful of sugar。 Plus the hero is so amazing to all of them that it’s no wonder a connection forms。 I can’t wait to read the other books in this new series and highly recommend this one。 。。。more
